Think of the Self Love List as part journal prompt and part checklist. Once you realize the importance of doing the self care things that light you up, you’ll never go back! But that’s just it- it’s the figuring that out that can be the problem! We’ve been told that running ourselves to the ground is holy, but I fully disagree. We have to be filled up and overflowing in order to love and serve the other people in our lives well. I know that when I take the time to do the things that fill up my cup, I’m a much better wife, mom, and human.

We’ve been told that self care is selfish… but is it? I don’t think so! And the funniest part- I will even ADD things I have done to my checklist just so I can check it off! Anyone else out there with me? I always, always have multiple checklists going for different categories. Be sure to place it somewhere you will refer to it each day – in your self care journal, life planner, or on the fridge at home.The Self Love List has been years in the making… and do you know why?
